Both wikis that were presented by these authors showed very strong arguements about why John Adams deserved a B rating on a scale of A through F. I agree with their arguements that keeping America out of a scuffle with France was one of the most important aspects of his presidency. One major difference I noticed between the two was the fact that Rachel seemed to praise the Alien Acts more than Adam did. I agree with Rachel on this one because those acts were very helpful in keeping peace with America and other countries and it helped tremendously with the isolationism idea that America was following. Sorry Adam, I know what you were saying with the idea that these acts violated amendments of the constitution but my opinion is that they were necessary in the fact that John Adams was trying to keep the country safe from foreign warfare when America was most vulnerable to be attacked and most likely defeated. One aspect that I liked the most about these two wikis is the showing of how Adams was trying to build a stronger army and navy while it was given an oppurtunity for peace with other countries. All-in-all, both wikis were very well researched and put together and I agree with most of their arguements supporting John Adams' B grade.
